USAFA does not look at subject tests. Talked to my admissions officer about this topic a few months ago. Focus on doing well on your SAT or ACT.

From what I understand, most appointments will be given out in March 1 through April 30. But I have heard on this forum that candidates may receive appointments all the way up until I-Day. There are many threads on this, if you want to find out more...
