You should help your roommate clean the room before you go, but if you notify your chain of command your schedule you won't necessarily have to be there for the official inspection. I had two football roommates this past semester.

My roommate from this past semester has an iPhone and iPad and he connected a wireless router to the wired internet cable provided in the room. I was also able to use it for my Android phone and we both used wifi on our issued laptops.

You only end up running approx. 4 miles on running workout days. The other days are muscular strength. However, you'll end up doing a lot of marching/walking everywhere.

Does anyone know whether or not e-readers, such as the popular Kindle are allowed during the academic year? (I realize it wouldn't be at Beast.) Because I am considering it for a graduation gift since the Academy restricts so many electronic devices. Thank you in advance.

Your grades seem good. I would focus on the Standardized Testing. I presume you are in National Honor Society with those grades? If so that is a major plus, both scholastically and with leadership-quality.

Out of a class of 720 students, my friend going to USCGA and myself going to USMA are the only service-academy bound students.
