Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that you could obtain a nomination for an academy through ROTC. Is that right?

I received an email today telling me that I was not admitted to the Naval Academy. Good Luck to the rest of you.

Does anyone know how the process for becoming a pilot after graduation works? I know of at least one test, but does anyone know the step by step process? I'm just curious, this is really what I want to do.

Is anyone else still waiting to hear about an NROTC scholarship? What are you doing in the mean time? I have been accepted to both TAMU and UT and I applied for both schools for the scholarship, but I can't pick one without the scholarship. Advice, or what you are doing.

I was just wondering how much free time you might have when involved in NROTC. I don't expect a lot of free time, but I was considering going to the University of Texas and a couple of my friends will be there. I just want to know if I can expect to be able to hang out with them or not.

I just checked the status of my DoDMERB status and it says that it is remedial. I know this just means they need more information, but is this in any way a bad thing for my application? Is it looked down upon or anything?

What kind of scholarships (if any) can you accept if you are accepted into the Naval Academy. Obviously you wouldn't accept scholarships that pay tuition, but could you accept the scholarships that give you money to spend on other things such as books etc.?
