If you call being put on the waitlist a decision, yes. He got an email from USNA maybe 20 mins ago.

I was just reading this when my DS said he got waitlisted for USNA. He's already got an acceptance from West Point, but USNA is ranked higher for him. Here's to more waiting!

My bad. It is likely different for officers than enlisted. I never had to do any clearance forms for my time in the Navy as an enlisted member, but all enlisted and officers in the USAF have to do them prior to boot camp.

What's crazy is that a letter came today, dated the day prior to the appointment, that said he was placed on the NWL. NWL on the 9th, appointment on the 10th.
