    DoDMERB’s Under Construction

About 20 days ago I was told by an employee that he was told Dec 5 was the date to expect full return. Meanwhile, they have been manually processing applicants. This is just what I've heard, maybe someone can verify or tell you more.

    DoDMERB Remedial

I sent my remedial docs to DoDMERB Sept 26 and received an email the other day from my technician saying he uploaded the docs to my file. I went to a civilian doc for my remedial, so I had to get the report and send it to DoDMERB myself. If you did that and haven’t recieved word back that your...

    DoDMERB Website Down?

The portal’s still down but your sons forms should go in soon. The 8th was the first day they were able to access and upload documents to individual’s files. At least that’s what I heard, and I received an email earlier today that my files that I sent Sept 30th were uploaded to my file.

Good afternoon, I'm currently waiting on a Spondylolysis waiver and saw your son was in the same place. Was his granted?

USAFA App almost complete except for DodMerb

I’m not the most qualified person to give DoDMERB advice. But since Mr. Mullen (this forum’s DoEMERB expert) is temporarily away, I’ll tell you that last I heard, their systems have no visibility of any applicant; meaning there is no way to know your status.

    Email this morning

What email did he receive this from? If you weren’t aware, DoDMERB has been down since September and I’m curious if this is a sign its getting a heartbeat again.

    Already confused on first question!

Clarification: List everything you are certain existed and there is documentation of. Do not guess on anything, that is how you make mistakes. If you have to second guess if your son took x, y, or z: it’s not all that important anyway. I’m not saying to be deceitful, be rational.

    Already confused on first question!

It is not necessary to list any possible OTC your son took. Individual OTC history does not exist, so DoDMERB will not confront you if you missed something. Don’t sweat remembering anything he took Motrin or something for. For prescription history however, that does exist and can be accessed...

    No High School Sports?

Yeah man. At my school and in my area, anyone could be on the track team, varsity letters are given to those who qualify in their events. And yeah, you wont damn the team if you misperform, unless they were counting on you to score- which would make you top 3 in the meet anyway.

    DoDMERB Website Down?

Hi Mr. Mullen, I know you have no definitive answers and the staff is working diligently on the issue, which I really appreciate. But I want to ask, could this outage last through the end of the year? I heard this may be the case.

    No High School Sports?

Looks like everyone else is saying to do track, listen ! Someone else said cross country, I did that too. Also a good experience and another sport to put on the application.

    No High School Sports?

It really, really, helps to have played varsity sports. I will give you a pro-tip that helped me: sign up for indoor and outdoor track & field (winter and spring). I never did track until the winter of my junior year, and threw shot put in the spring and winter of my jr/sr years. I also made...

    DODMERB Status: "Partial Closed"

I really appreciate all the work you guys are doing. I’m waiting on a waiver for my PLC app, that’s great to hear progress is being made. Any ideas on what caused the computer failure?

DoDMERB down since Sept 21 ???

What is the deal with DoDMERB's 'computer systems being offline' since September 21st? How much longer can this go on for? I sent them medical documents for my waiver after the 21st, and each day it remains down, I get closer to missing the PLC board; which I'd already be close to missing...

    Advice for possible depression

Any history or current status of any mental imperfection will likely disqualify your son. Let him do with that information what he pleases.

    DodMERB website

As you probably know, the website’s been down again since Sept 21. Do you know about when it’s expected to be fixed?

For Marine option, the interviewer and another O-3 monitored the test.

    Start to Finish Application Timing

    1. For Marine NROTC, if you start in April it takes up to 1 year, not sure how much the Navy differs but I’m pretty sure it’s the same. Marine option NROTC and Navy option NROTC are both NROTC, most of what I tell you will be true to the Navy as well, but some small things may be true only for...

    MO NROTC Results?

    MO NROTC Results?

Hi all, I applied for the Marine Option NROTC early board, but have not received a decision yet. I know that one student in my recruiting district (I live in CT) was awarded a scholarship today, so I’m assuming that since I haven’t heard anything then I didn’t get a scholarship. However, I’m...
