    Priors???

I've sent in my acceptance letter for the NAPS class convening in July of 2010. Should I expect to see my orders on Bupers? From my Command career counselor? or through the mail? The only reason I ask is because I really need my "Report no later than date" It's April and I haven't heard...

    Prior enlisted paygrade after commission?

I completely understand exactly what you're talking about. I'm also scheduled to attend NAPS class of 2011 and I have a little over 3yrs in. From what I've heard and read....the time at NAPS does count towards retirement but the time at USNA doesn't. So assuming we graduate USNA, I believe...

    Enlisted Applicants for FY 2010

reply I haven't received an appointment but I have received a letter of acceptance into NAPS. I would say it took a month to receive my letter after mailing off my CO's rec and my SECNAV nomination. Just hang in there, you'll get it. V/R HM3

    Enlisted options after NAPS

The big reason I guess that I'm questioning myself is because I already have an associates degree. I'm less than a 1 1/2 years from getting my BS and it just seems that having to start fresh from zero would be a step back. I know all about the Naval Academy's reputation and I know that If I...

    Enlisted options after NAPS

I know exactly what STA-21 is and believe me I've researched practically every commissioning option out there. As a prior, you should know that this stuff is practically jammed down our throats without us even having to ask for the info; or at least that's how it is at my command. My question...

    I need an outsiders opinion.

You most definitely have a shot. I had a 4.0 gpa... poor SATs and REALLY bad CFA (really bad day) I think I ran like a 8:34. I remember looking at everyone's post and thinking I didn't have a shot in *ell to get in. I ended up getting NAPS! I don't think you have anything to worry about.

    Enlisted options after NAPS

Have you ever heard of any prior enlisted applying for for NROTC from NAPS? Are you a prior, if so what do you honestly think about being a prior at NAPS?

    Send NAPS Questions This Way

what percentage of NAPS would you say is made up of enlisted members? Is that good or bad? Oh, and what would happen if an enlisted member chose not to attend the USNA after NAPS, would they just get sent back to the fleet? last question, have you ever heard of an enlisted member apply to...

    Enlisted options after NAPS

Thank you for your input. There are several academy grads at my command and they all have assured me of how benificial the academy is. I have no doubt that going would better me in every way. What I really wanted to know were my options after graduating NAPS. Could joining NROTC after NAPS...

    Enlisted options after NAPS

I'm currently enlisted and have received my acceptance letter to NAPS. What are all my possible options assuming I were to make it through NAPS. It's not that I doubt I will, I would just like to know exactly what I'm looking at. Obviously going to the USNA is an option. What about attending...
