I received a Hold Candidate letter saying that I was academically qualified about a month ago. I received my waiver January 20th and I was nominated by congresswoman McCarthy this past saturday. Should I be getting a letter in the coming days? Also, any suggestions for adding to my application...

Receieved nomination from Congresswoman McCarthy today. Excited to say the least, still no word from Schumer, but I'm excited to be nominated.

I live on Long Island as well. NROTC and USMMA hopeful (just waiting for a nomination) and accepted in SUNY Maritime.

Yeah, when I called Schumer's office they said they had not finished nominating yet, but as you said shouldn't be much longer with the deadline approaching.

Gillibrand nominations were sent out early January. Schumer's nominations should be completed soon but haven't been completed as of January 27, and McCarthy's were completed tonight the 27th. I had my Schumer and McCarthy interview over a month ago though, if that was your question.

Update: McCarthy nominations are being finished up as of January 27th and the letters should be received by Saturday of this week. Still no word on Schumer, nominations still not finalized.

I also received my letter and while ago, just waiting to hear back on my CAP and other scholarships. If I don't get my nomination to USMMA, I'll be seeing you there in the fall. Congratulations on your acceptance. Oh, btw I'm also from New York.

I had registered for DodMERB a while ago and, unfortunately, forgot to write down both my username and password. Any idea on how to recover these? I had called DodMERB and they had told me to e-mail the webmaster, however I received no response.

I just received a letter from USMMA informing me I have been moved to Hold Candidate status pending my medical status and my nomination. Has anyone been through this before, or does anyone know that chances of getting accepted at the Hold Candidate Status?

I know Gillibrand has already given out her appointments, but has anyone heard back from Schumer or their district representatives yet?
