This is my second year being 3 Q'd with 2 nominations. I'm doing a year at college currently. Not much anxiety this year, because I know if I don't get it this time, I'm enlisting in the Marine Corps. USNA is still my Num 1. Let's hope for the best everyone.

TBH, it depends a lot on your interview. You have to be able to present yourself well to the legionaires. If you can't present yourself well, what would make them know that you could be a good politician up at Boys State.

As long as you can prove that you're currently in good moral standing, far past mistakes shouldn't haunt you now. That's just my oppinion.

ROTC can always be a detour. You can reapply (what I'm doing) and see what happens. If you don't get it a second tinme, you still have a commission after college.

IMO enlist in the reserves and take college classes next year. With reserves you can do both basically

Just got the bad news today. Trying again next year after a year of Marine Corps NROTC.

over 25% of the class scored bellow 1200 on the SAT two part, so no you can get a candidate number without a 600. They also don't want bookworms, they want future officers, while they want their officers to be smart, there are other things that are wanted as well.

I spoke with admissions today and the woman stated that all the letter would be sent out by the 15th, so the latest you should receive one is the following week.

The fact that we are not denied is a big deal. Waiting is good. Also that we are 3Q'd. I started thinking positively and its helping. Way better than worrying.
