Which on would you recommend Yale AFROTC or USAFA

All of his "medical" experiences were done outside of ROTC...he started working in Biomedical Science research lab at his University the summer after his freshman year and continued that experience year-round right up to his graduation next month. He also regularly volunteered at a hospital...

Which on would you recommend Yale AFROTC or USAFA

mbleykhman, I just wanted to add...from my earlier post, I had mentioned my AFROTC son needed to compete for a Pre-Health EA at the beginning of his senior year. The AF OML (for pre-health) was computed as follows: 60% MCAT, 25% CGPA and 15% RSS. Again 12 AFROTC cadets received this EA, not...

Which on would you recommend Yale AFROTC or USAFA

My son is an AFROTC cadet commissioning in May who will be starting medical school in August. From an AFROTC perspective, he competed for a pre-health EA just before the start of his senior year (I believe he met the board in August). He was awarded a pre-health EA (he indicated that 12...

    Is scholarship ROTC considered "work"?

My son is a contracted non-scholarship cadet. He used the “work/activities” section of the primary app to thoroughly speak to his AFROTC experience. He individually addressed his ROTC commitment in general, experiences at Field Training (incl. Top Gun, Warrior recognition), his DET wing staff...

    rotc + med school

My son is an AFROTC cadet about to start his senior year and he is planning to go to medical school. However, as PIMA previously stated it is service before self...last year he selected his AFSCs, none of which had the slightest relation to medicine...and he is prepared to serve if that is what...

    Field Training

My son will be going to Max 6. I am not familiar with the Marine syllabus but my son was home a couple of weeks ago and showed me a few excerpts from his FT Manual. In the appendix it shows 1) the schedule for a "typical" day and 2) a chart which shows "training phase by training day". The 28...
