I would guess they have finished deciding who is appointed (until declinations after May 1) given the "we have offered" language in the waitlist FAQ, but some just haven't been notified yet...

I saw a post on the USMA forum that said if you haven't received an appointment at this time, you likely lost your nominating slate. Is this likely true for USNA (given the deadline was pushed back a month)?

Do the academies talk to each other about admitted candidates? Would one have a lower chance of getting into navy if they had gotten into army (and/or vice versa)?
