On the old admissions portal it says, “applications to the class of 2026 will open on March 15,2021 and close on December 31st, 2021”

I saw that the new application has a universal deadline of December 31st. Does this also apply for re-applicants or is the re-app deadline January 31st like last year?

Thank you for your response, but I know there is a program for AFROTC cadets that allows them to get “free” flight hours through a local flight school. I just don’t know if there is a cap to these hours or not. I’m an incoming freshman with my scholarship.

I’m having a hard time finding a primary source on how to get flight hours through AFROTC. Can anyone with experience in this answer these questions? How many hours can I realistically get through this program? Like if I do 30 hours on my own dime could I conceivably get another 15 through rotc...

Can’t we just celebrate the people who did get scholarships/ a field training slot. Give advice to people who didn’t, and stop fueling this guys crazed rants?

I’m just curious if AFROTC has any summer programs offered other than field training? And competitive scholarships where you can explore other countries or get a PPL?

Just curious who has NOT received a TWE. In years past 15% of this list got appointments, but this is obviously not a typical year.

Where do we find the type of scholarship offered?

@Percy I don’t know which thread I saw your post in, but I talked to one of the det commanders over the weekend, and he said the piece of paper was just signed or about to be so scholarships should be coming out shortly.

In the past, I think they come out around 5 PM EST.

MIT is most definitely more academically rigorous than USAFA. I would think that the most competitive school in the country is more academically challenging than USAFA, a school that is 5 points lower average ACT wise. I’m sure you can get a great education at both places, but if if you do well...

I mean this time the portal was delayed two weeks instead of a month. Maybe they’re just optimistic?

How is it a known fact there is no PGL? I agree with you @xray328 im just curious how everyone has this inside information. When I talked to my rotc person all he said was he’ll know the same time I know.
