    It seems so. It is a little different from the original waitlist because, at this point, the class is "set" As far as I know, it looks like very few (if any) were actually offered appointments for the waitlist and the class size (based on the Facebook page) is a bit smaller than originally...

    A lot of the paperwork is available on the co2024 page on the USCGA website and are available for everyone to start filling out. There are quite a few forms and there is probably more paperwork in the appointment package.

    One is the waitlist for a direct appointment, the other is the waitlist for the scholars program (a 5 year program including 1 year at an academy prep school like MMI or NAPS before attending the academy). Which list you are on should be in your admissions decision letter from the academy.

    The email I got last Tuesday stated that the board will be next week (meaning this week) -- I'm hoping notifications will start being made soon, but depending on what's going on it might be possible that the board won't be meeting until later in the week

    Status of waitlist notification

    My guess is anytime, last year people seemed to start hearing on the 8th. Even with covid-19 delays, I'm hoping appointments from the waitlist are going to start coming out in the next week.

    Any idea when appointments from the waitlist will start? I'm assuming relatively soon with today being the deadline for accepting/declining most appointments.

    AIM Acceptance?

    Start a plan preparing her for the physical aspect of aim including the pfe (2 minutes cadence push-ups, 2 minutes sit ups, 1.5 mile run). She can use her pfe score from aim if she decides to apply, and it's just one step less to worry about when the time comes if she's happy with her score...
