Foxtailsean - What was your impression of the Vandy detachment? My DD is also interested in Vandy and has been in touch with the detachment recruiter. It has shot up to the top of her list (a late add after she was awarded a 4-year AROTC scholarship). Just curious.

My DD got a 4-year to her top 3: Washington & Lee, Villanova, and Virginia Tech. What was interesting was the number of AROTC detachments that reached out to her and asked her to apply to their schools once she was awarded the 4-year. Apparently they aren't very tough to transfer to another...
