Typically (although this is NOT a typical year) how many appointments are offered off of the waiting list? As I understand it there are +- 40 candidates on the waiting list. We have already seen several on the wait list opt for other options along with several whom received appointments choose...

In anyone's opinion, despite the competitiveness of this years class, will there be some appointments from the wait list? Also, if I accept my appointment to USMMA which is due prior to May 1, can I withdraw if an appointment is offered to USCGA after May 1?
