I am heading to USMAPS in July and starting to get my stuff packed. On the packing list it says we have to have unscented hair products, and I am wondering how strict they are on this rule? I am finding it difficult to find gel and or mousse that is good for the hair and unscented.

I don't think that somewhat crooked teeth will disqualify you.

Unit of assignment is if you are already in the military.

I looked in the booklet and it just says to select one of the options, but it does not give guidance on which one to pick and why.

On number 2 of the faststart direct deposit document, what should I select for type of payment? My options are net pay, travel, and other federal employment related payments.

Is anyone else not able to upload documents to their portal? When I try and upload documents it says software error. I have submitted documents before and it has worked and I made sure that the files are the right kind and are not too large.

I just wanted to verify that my train of thought on the dental process is correct! So I will print the paper provided in my portal and take it to the dentist. They'll fill it out and give me copies of the x-rays or email them to me and I will then upload that to my portal? I called the number...

I am fully aware that there are no tuition or fees at USMA. I was asking because who doesn't want free money?

Yes, I have until July of 2027 to use it. Just wasn't sure if I could receive it at USMA. I am receiving tuition exemption from the National Guard right now and I still get it.

Does anybody know if I can still receive chapter 35 benefits if accepted into USMA?? I have 24 months of benefits left. For those of you who don't know what chapter 35 is, it's educational assistance for veteran dependents.
