Yes, BFE came for my DS in December. He received a conditional appointment and is still waiting for a waiver.

DS also received a conditional appointment earlier this month. He received his BFE last week. It is an appointment as long as whatever is specified as the conditional condition is cleared. Fingers crossed for both your DS and mine!

Thank you both for your replies. The conditional appointment does indeed have a decision option available. I was just curious if there was a difference as both seem similar. Maybe the LOA has a timeframe to get missing items submitted and the conditional appointment does not.

Yes, I have a relative who received an appointment with a presidential nomination. It is highly possible they had multiple nominations but definitely has a presidential.

DD got an appointment in her portal the same day her BFE arrived. We are fairly close to West Point so that probably was a factor. It was awesome because she had no idea what was coming and it was an absolute surprise.

DD’s CFA took 4 or 5 months to change from yellow to green. She was told multiple different people must review and verify and to be patient. Videos always showed as green.
