It sure is alot to think about. There are so many "if's".

I heard that 3yr NROTC scholarships are almost nonexistent. Someone told me that schools haven't had any to give out for the last two years. Does anyone know if that is true? My son is debating whether to attend Norwich or Citadel.

Last board is this week.

My son's status changed on the website this afternoon. Unfortunately he didn't get the scholarship. We're still proud that he got accepted to 3 of the 6 senior military schools. Now we just have to decide where he's going. Best to all who got accepted and to those who are still waiting to hear.

We may be in the same boat. Not sure if my son got the scholarship yet but his choices were Citadel, Norwich, VTech, Penn State and ODU. Not sure if Citadel and ODU are full but the others said they are and they have many on wait list.

My son is still waiting to hear about his NROTC scholarship but in the meantime all the schools he listed on his application are full. Now what? I guess we can pay for the first year and try for a 3yr scholarship....

Is DoDMERB only for AROTC? My son is awaiting response on his NROTC scholarship. He had his interview and such but I don't recall anyone saying anything about DoDMERB. Is there something else we need to do?
