    5 year BA/MIA

thank you! I was planning to talk to them next week as they open around August 4th or something around then! I think I do have enough time (too much time if I'm being honest) so this could be a reality. I will let the board know if I find anything!

    5 year BA/MIA

The credits don't help since they are locked by year not by standing. By the end of this winter quarter I should be in Junior standing so I could try to take my upper division classes when it turns spring but I don't know if department would allow me to. I could try to beg but still unsure

    5 year BA/MIA

Active duty is something I would try to do! The career in the Army has not changed at all, just the academics of the school. the 5 year was just a way to fill my schedule without taking too many easy elective credit classes and without going part time! Thank you so much for your advice!

    5 year BA/MIA

I tried to ask my department to be able to do it in 4 years instead of 5 and they said it is unlikely because many of my classes I would take in junior year would be locked for seniors only so I'm not sure. I might ask again and beg and maybe, as you said, with the AROTC academic backing, I...

    5 year BA/MIA

ooo I see! I most likely won't want to go to law school right after I commission but even if I don't get into FLEP I would leave the army then go to law school!

    5 year BA/MIA

Thanks for the information! it makes total sense as into why and yea looks like on 6-28 they specified it to only Engineering, Science, or Architecture for those 5 year programs.

    5 year BA/MIA

I was was actually thinking of doing the FLEP program after I do commission and get my law degree and become a JAG as well! I just wanted a way to fill my schedule right now since with all the classes I am required to take I still almost 50% of my classes open! It was either a double major or a...

congrats on the 5th year extension! I heard the same thing about engineering majors and thought maybe for other majors but you all are right about asking my cadre first!

    5 year BA/MIA

thank you for the advice! I was more asking if they let me do it. I would be fine paying for a year extra of college to earn it, but I was wondering since I would commission for 4th year if they would allow me to go back to Schoo for a 5th year?

    5 year BA/MIA

Hello! I'm currently an incoming freshman with an Army ROTC scholarship. I'm interested in doing a 5 year BA/MIA program in my University. Does anyone have any experience on if ROTC allows this and if they do, how was the process in doing this? Thank you for your time!

    Best ROTC programs

but also try UC San Diego! the IR program is one of the best in the US (I'm a bit biased haha) and who wouldn't want to live near the beach it's so nice! I heard great things about the Aztec Battalion as well! Go Tritons! If you have any questions just DM me!

    Best ROTC programs

I would really recommend Georgetown or GWU. The Army ROTC is ran by Georgetown. While I currently not planning to enroll there, while I was committed to GWU and looked into the Hoya Battalion, the people I met there are top notch! Mr. Ray is one of the nicest and most supportive person I've met...

    ROTC Status Change After Acceptance

Maybe contact your ROO to make sure it was accepted? I asked my ROO from my school to make sure that my acceptance went through and it did so I would just shoot an email to confirm!

    AIM Decisions

My thinking is to prepare for the virtual. You're basically fighting against everyone else in virtual. It is not likely.

    AIM Decisions

I remembered during my year of AIM they said that they said in the introduction it was an acceptance rate of around 20% around 200 for each session (2 in person and one virtual) and there was 3 session so it was 600 of us. I would say around 3000 of us applied. This might've changed since now...
