NROTC Marine Corp "guaranteed" aviation contracts.

I applied to USCGA as well, but wasn't accepted. I will certainly consider OCS if rotc doesn't work out for me, but it has been my understanding that flight slots are hard to come by in USCG OCS, much like the other branches

NROTC Marine Corp "guaranteed" aviation contracts.

Helicopters are my first choice, and I have a class II FAA medical flight physical, however no military flight physical yet.

NROTC Marine Corp "guaranteed" aviation contracts.

How competitive is getting a "guaranteed" aviation contract in the USMC through an NROTC program? Right now I am in AFROTC, and the concept of a guaranteed flight slot seems appealing.

    USCGA application broken

I just signed in to start on my class of 2027 reapplication, but when I click "apply for class of 2027" it says "application submitted" and shows my Class of 2026 application. I assumed that meant I just edit last years info to be up to date, but there are no save buttons anywhere on the page...

    ROTC/ANG relation

Question: Let's say I am a junior year student in ROTC and I have my official papers in front of me ready to sign. If I chose to sign those papers, does that mean I cannot apply to any ANG afterwords? The uncertainty involved in ROTC job selection and the fact that I could get told to fly a desk...

    EA question

I'm going into my second cycle of SA applications, and I am curious if there is an advantage to applying to USCGA early action. Are your odds of admittance better, or is the benefit strictly knowing sooner?

    Late April decision release

Enlisted is a great option with the LEAD program, plus you would be getting paid instead of paying for college! Did you attend the Hokie Focus corps of cadets seminar by any chance?

    Reapplicant question

Thanks for the advice, I am doing ROTC at Virginia tech for a year on almost full scholarship, but I will be reapplying next year with hopefully higher SAT scores. I had only a 1360 this time around, so I think that's where I shot myself in the foot.

    Reapplicant question

Well, I just got the TWE but I refuse to spend time sulking. Instead, I will ask some questions about reapplying: 1. Is there a way to figure out what part/parts of my application need improvement? 2. Is a congressman/Senator less likely to nominate me for the next cycle since I didn't get in...

    Late April decision release

is there a "wave" of offers that go out on April 21st, or is that just when they deny everyone who wasn't accepted?
