DD just received medical waiver was denied. Her hearing loss is too severe for a waiver so her conditional appointment has been withdrawn. Good luck to all!

My daughter will reach out to AO next week. Meanwhile I will try to be patient. Plan B schools are coming at our kids pretty hard so that helps.

Does anyone here know the latest date for medical waivers to be received by eligible applicants? Signing date for most colleges is May 1st. Getting more than a little anxious. Thank you.

She received her conditional appointment in December. Then we had medical appointments resulting in the need for a waiver. We were notified that her waiver was automatically requested on March 10. We're hopeful. Thanks.

DD is still waiting for medical waiver. We had heard from a 2025 parent that her daughter received waiver in April. We're all exhausted but trying to remain hopeful. Best of luck!

I am very happy for your child and your family. It is difficult to be patient but remain hopeful even though test results require a waiver.

The conditional appointment expires on May 15th if student doesn't get medical waiver or appointment. I believe other colleges need commitment/signing by May 1st. Hopeful for waiver but we won't be able to wait until May 15, in case one isn't granted. Any insights on the dates? Thanks.

I think your advice applies to a few parents too😳🤪 It is nail biting season as non-SA decisions start to appear. Enjoy the journey.

    Audiology concerns

The ENT did not think an MRI is needed as he does not suspect tumor or expect her hearing to get worse. I hope you don't mind me asking how soon did you get waiver after you received ENT results? (I know that waivers are individually determined; we remain hopeful). Thank you.

Has anyone dealt with this medical issue? Moderate hearing loss in the 500 to 4000Hz frequencies. Current or history of use of hearing aids. My child is being reevaluated by a specialist for hearing 'loss' in 1000-2000 Hz. Never knew about it or noticed it. She's in the competition choir at...

We have just learned that my daughter's DoDMERB file is now complete. Can someone please tell us how long it would take to get the appointment updated to reflect that? She does not have any medical issues that would cause concern. Thank you.

Thank you for the responses. She's declared MES as preferred major with NA&ME as 2nd choice. To your point, lots of time to figure out allowed calculator for later years.

Please advise what laptop is issued to cadets. Also is there preferred calculator? (My daughter has had a TI-84plus CE since middle school; worked well for AP/college math/science classes) Not planning to buy anything. Just curious. Thank you.
