In regards to receiving an appointment to USCGA while in CGAS... while in prep school, do we submit the same application as everyone else, with the same deadline? Also, would we request letters of recommendation from our prep school teachers or high school teachers?

Did your daughter ever get asked if she had a preferred prep school? If so, when did they ask, and was GMC her preferred first choice? I know they will make the selection based on what they see fit in each applicant, but I would just like to know.
