My son wanted soaring but was slotted to jump for his summer after 4th year. He really wants to be a glider IP. Can he get into soaring during 3rd (sophomore) year and still become a glider IP?

My DS (conditional appointment Sunday!) received the same email cancelling his tour reservation for 4/8. DS looked on his portal for a link or invite and saw nothing. Also nothing in email as of yet. Does anyone know how the links/invitations are distributed to appointees to sign up?
