I'm kind of confused, what exactly do we need to bring on R-day? A copy of our social and that's it? Can I bring under armour to run in, what color should it be, do they issue that? I know there are certain things we can bring but out of those which are necessary?

What actually takes place on R-Day? I know we show up and are yelled at, that sort of thing, but what is it really going to consist of? Are we put into companies, do we do PT, are we paired with roommates? Any information about that and BEAST would be much appreciated. Thanks

What's the deal with media for plebes? When I was on my candidate visit, a plebe had an xbox and watched tv on the computer. Is this allowed normally or is this a special circumstance?

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I am not talking about AP exams, I'm asking about the impetus to lower your GPA and thus your probability of getting the branch you want such as infantry, aviation, etc. AF, is it really worth it if you don't get your service selection and do those advanced classes...

What are the advantages to taking advanced classes? If they don't enhance your GPA or have a booster, how could anyone who cares about their service selection want to take a harder class where there's a good chance they'll get a worse grade? If anyone could clarify here...
