We purchased the Garmont for my DS and he liked the feel so will be wearing for BCT and bought the Nike ones for class/backup. Figured he’ll wear both within those 4 years.

Congrats! Your DS is on his way to the next step of receiving an appointment!! My DS received his nomination, then medical waiver and a week or so later got the good news of an appointment. 🎉

My DS wears glasses 👓 only when needed to see white board in class especially if sitting in the back or when extremely tired. Otherwise his eyesight is fine. Passes eye test without glasses. Should he still bring glasses to I-Day? He doesn’t need for daily wear. Looking at 26’ info and I’m not...

We are in the same boat with my son. We’re from PA and very new to all this excitement. I found a private parents FB page today. USAFA Class of 2027 Parents Group, make sure to choose the private group. You’ll need to email the acceptance letter first and answer questions. Good luck to your son! 😊

My DS didn’t receive his waiver last year and no academy prep school; however he went to NWP as a free agent. Check the SA site for the ones they recommend you attend if you receive a foundation scholarship. You can go to them as a free agent. Best decision we made. Good luck 🍀

@Milkbone123 I wanted to let you know my DS had an amazing experience at NWP, made lifelong friendships and the Durbeck’s were the best! He gained so much from being there this past fall 22’. The best news is he received his USAFA appointment and will be part of co2027. ♥️

My DS never received confirmation of a waiver for a knee injury that is now more than a year old. When reapplying, does he need to complete all the DoDMERB medical again? Starting USAFA and USNA application process again for c/o 2027. He wasn’t sure of what will be different this time. Thank you.

Question for those reapplying to USAFA c/o 2027- when you start the process again, does the information transfer to the new application from the old one?
