My letter of intent doesn’t show up in the portal upload even after I upload it. I emailed cadet command a copy with it on Tuesday. Do you know how long it usually takes to get validated?

I got the same email. I already accepted a 4 year AROTC scholarship but I guess I’ll go on the waitlist. Can’t hurt at this point.

yea im in the same boat as your kid just got into VTCC and the honors college there so definitely first backup to USNA. I’ve already mentally committed to VT and will start to look into housing and all the other stuff.

Not every DQ requires tests. Some just require letters from physicians stating you’re fine. As everything with medical it’s case dependent.

Medical just turns from red to greeen and says “Waived by USNA” on the portal. Also you get a letter in the mail but when I got my letter it was a month after my portal had updated so just check your portal.

Got faked out by admissions today. Saw while in class I got an email from USNA admissions but couldn’t check it. Sat there for a good hour wondering if it was a TWE or appt. Turns out it was just an invite to another CVW 😭

Best to stop trying to peek behind the curtain and just embrace waiting for something concrete to show up. Easier said than done but thats just what I'm trying to do.
