DS was on it, then turned down, but then a VP nom showed up in his portal a few weeks ago. His FFR said DS is back in the waiting game.

Ok, so the teachers will be doing SOE's. These are different than letters of rec. The SA will email a link to the teachers you select. They will then evaluate you. I believe there are different questions ranked on a scale. They will have a chance at the end to write a small letter about you.

The class of '29 application is not open yet. I'm guessing that is the issue.

Well my DS was on the NWL. Turned down in February. Then a VP nom showed up in his portal over a week ago. So we are back in the waiting game to see what that means.....if anything. His FFR says he received the VP nom because they are trying to find a place to put him when declines come in. I...

He got a 3Q letter in his portal, so we knew he was fully qualified. Then in his turn down letter they called him fully qualified but not selected. His FFR told him his status in the system says QNS. Qualified Not Selected.
