Looks like USCGA waitlist recipients received their waitlist emails today; maybe tomorrow is our day!

He is. I agree, from what I’ve read there has at least been a follow up email at this point. It really makes me think the CGAS has filled their spots. After all, It’s been a “record year” for applications. DS is pretty motivated with his plan B.

Not yet but we did get an email to complete DODMERB exams. DS finished is exams yesterday. Everything looks good so just waiting on an appointment. Someone had mentioned it’s very likely appointment offers won’t come in until after May1st and can continue up until May 31st.

I’d like to piggy back on this…my son is 70.5 inches…is the half inch taken into account when determining weight? I notice all weight requirements are based on full inch measurements

Hello My DS had braces and currently has a permanent retainer. Does anyone have any insight if this will have any effect on his medical qualification?

I think someone mentioned AO wrapped up decisions last week. Not sure if that means slots were filled and now they will offer waitlists if a slot opens up.

It looks like next Friday most of us will find out. One more week of waiting…hang in there!

DS was also deferred.

My DS was deferred. He’s happy to be still be in it and work to get “his” spot in the CGA! I can already see the “fire” in his eyes.

My DS is also waiting. The CGA is his first choice. Keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t get a decision that will create a disappointed mood before Christmas. Good Luck to all who are waiting for a decision!
