Kid in Swab summer right now. All I can say is.. it’s only been a few weeks, what an amazing experience so far. The kids eventually realize (if they haven’t done so) how fortunate they are to be in such exclusive company.

Anyone know if after the conclusion of swab summer, during CAP and before the start of Fall semester, do swabs get any time to possibly get together with parents?

Anyone with prior experience know the Thanksgiving schedule? Planning on a Wednesday night flight is probably too tight, but I understand the Academy provides bus service to BDL airport Thursday morning? Anyone know what time the bus leaves the Academy Thursday morning? Thank you

For those that have gone through Day 1, what time should we expect to be finished with activities? I have heard around 3pm. Also, any opinions on attending weekend events prior to Day 1? I understand this will be the only time to see the actual Chade Hall living quarters?

I just checked DODMETS. Had not checked in a few weeks. It now shows CLOSED (without the Incomplete). Go figure. One has to stay on top of this, no hand holding at all!! Message sent to all emails available 😬.

Question for experienced folks. When dropping off Swabs on Monday, what time are we basically done with their activities? Planning return flight same day or next. Also, when Swab summer is over, when do we get to see them, is it for one day or multiple? Thank you 🙏

Exactly! Closed-Incomplete. We sent the 2 “missing” docs early October. Crickets. Very frustrating.

My son’s medicals were completed third week of September and nothing, sent to DodMerb a few days later 😱. DoDMerb site says his records have not been added to the system, yet some have status updates with much later exam dates. Go figure.
