I Have been at a 100% completed since October 11th. Hoping it changes soon. Good luck to all this week, is April 21st still the “hard date” that team blue/silver said? I know appointments waitlist FF and Prep offers still come after this date but we should at least hear something by the 21st correct?

I’m wondering the same thing. USAFA told me recently that they haven’t deemed if I’m a competitive candidate or not and haven’t looked at my application yet. Even though it was turned in back in October.

I saw your post in the USAFA Self Updating Appointment Thread, was your district top heavy with USMA Interest this year? Regardless of how USMA turns out congratulations on your USAFA appointment.

Did the USMA State Rep tell you where you placed on your Slate? What congressional district are you in Ohio?

@Bquiz44 I can’t private message you but Congratulations on your USAFA Appointment. I’m also from Ohio and wanted to know what congressional district you‘re from. I haven’t heard anything yet from USAFA but hopefully I will soon.

USAFA Requesting a waiver on your behalf two days after your initial DQ is great news. They’re very backed up right now but you have your foot in the door already with them. Be on the lookout for AMI’s in the coming weeks/months - there really isn’t a timetable with SA Waiver Authorities.

It appears USAFA Admissions has been sending out appointments every Monday of the new week since around mid December ish. From what I’ve gathered from the self updating list here on the forum the majority of applicants (Applicants sharing information on the Forum) that are already appointed are...

So is this regular appointment board for the applicants that never received an “LOI” or ”LOA”? Almost like a regular decision board for the kids they didn’t want early on? If this is the case Is it at these meetings where they choose the most competitive applicant from the outstanding...

Thank you for your reply. Hoping everything will work out for your DS. My ALO told me that a waiver will/would be initiated if USAFA deemed me competitive on one of my slates. I’ll keep this thread updated with what happens.

In the same boat as you. Submitted my candidate kit in early October. DQ‘d in early November. I sent in supporting documents for my DQ 2 days afterwards (They didn’t request AMI I just sent it in so it would be there for them to see upon reveiw) Still have not heard a word from USAFA regarding a...

I received the email too. I’m medically DQ’d and waiting for a potential waiver as well.
