If you are awaiting word on a possible USMA appointment, is there any value in notifying Admissions that you were awarded an AROTC scholarship? I would think not, but I imagine there could be other types of scholarships that could be awarded that might be appropriate to update Admissions on.

Probably an obvious answer, but in applying for an ROTC scholarship, do you contemporaneously apply to colleges that offer the program? I assume if awarded a scholarship, you also have to be accepted to a college with an ROTC program and go through the normal college application process as well...
