Wait, can you send a CP application even if you are still in the applicant pool for a scholarship? Will it mess with your scholarship application at all? I was wondering about that, because I need to apply if I don't receive a scholarship. Thanks!

I have not received any notifications today, I believe rejections are going out Wednesday or Thursday and probably in the afternoon. We just have to sit and wait it out.

I believe it is communicated via an email and portal status update. Non-selection should be a rejection, unless you applied for MSISR (I believe) which should give you another chance. [Keep in mind, I am only an applicant (alternate at this point; assuming) and could be totally wrong].
