Final USAFA waitlist decision of not this year came on graduation day (didn’t look until day after) so now my DS can finally assert that he is proud and excited to be heading to Auburn with a AFROTC type 1 scholarship in the Fall.

At the top of my DS’s USAFA portal where there had been a big fat red X - no nomination received, a green checkmark suddenly appeared around 4/3 - “Vice Presidential Nomination Received.” We were checking to see if the application might actually be closed. Still awaiting a decision.
