    Who to send information to?

Today USNA reached out to me asking for extra paperwork for my DQ so they can make a waiver decision. Do I send the paperwork to USNA directly or through DODMERB since this was not posted onto my DODMERB portal and just simply an email from USNA Medical Admissions.

    LOR Content

I provided some context about the Service Academies. My teachers wrote a separate LoR for my SA applications vs. civilian colleges which I think is super helpful in making sure the SAs are getting a letter tailored specifically to what they are looking for.

    Getting paperwork done before I-Day

With the number of people still waiting on a final decision from USNA (waiver/waiting list), I am starting to worry about how close to I-Day I will receive a decision. Since there is a great deal of paperwork that needs to be completed by I-Day, is there a way to ensure it will all get completed...

    ACT scores

1490 SAT which is about 33-34 ACT is what got me an LOA, but always aim high. However, I would say work on your extracurriculars and leadership equally if not more than your test scores. I met a midshipman who had scored in the 1200s but had excellent leadership positions in high school, so it...

    Cancelling my CVW?

I attended CVW in November and you will have tons of time to catch up with your work. As a drag, you'll be attending classes, but generally, I was encouraged to do my homework or read during the classes in the back of the classroom. My mid also spent some time in the library doing work as well...

    Naval academy waiting

In a similar boat here. My USNA portal changed to "Waiver Pending" on April 1st when I got my LOA, but I have not heard anything since then. What was the timeline between your son's portal saying "Waiver Pending" to "Under Review"?

    CFA INSPIRE

I would practice situps to a cadence, I remember Stew Smith saying that 1 sec/situp should be what we should aim for in order to max out. Probably not a matter of strength but time

    USNA C/O 2028 Waiver Waiters

I believe each academy has different standards, not to mention a different set of people reviewing, so a no go at USMA might be alright at USNA
