I think it depends on when you receive your appointment. Back in December it was taking about a week, but there were fewer appointments. With so many appointments going out now, I would expect that it would take longer.

My DS received a waitlist offer, but he has a USAFA appointment. I'm not sure if he will stay on the waitlist or not.

My son is filling out the Appointee Survey and there is a question about preference of Apple or PC. He plans on being an Engineering major. Can you offer guidance if you are a current USAFA cadet? Thank you in advance.

My son did not receive a LOI, and he received an appointment. There are many on the appointment list without LOI or LOA. I think many have said don’t give up until you get a letter of nonselection. Best wishes!
