My son was med waiver denied by USNA. Med waiver approved by NROTC, among others. The follow up communication with USNA Admissions, and the letter we received, didn’t really provide any additional clarity. Sometimes you just have to chalk it up to “it’s not meant to be”. Moving forward.

Great question. I asked him, but I just don’t think he’s “there yet”. Part of me hopes he does. But I guess a bigger part of me hopes he loves next year so much he never looks back!

My son received the unfortunate news over the weekend that his Medical Waiver was denied by USNA. We are still pretty stunned by the decision. It really makes no sense, based on every reasonable measure, but unfortunately you just never know in this process….. He was disappointed for about 24...

My son received a call from Hagerty’s office today as well. Sounds like he is an alternate for USNA. I assume this means a Principal Nomination was given? (Still trying to understand all of this). Any insight?
