I should state "was offered an appointment to West Point on a VP nomination."

I only know that an MMI cadet was offered a VP nomination to West Point yesterday and that the cadet also has an appointment to USAFA. So that may be the answer to the question I wrote the other day "where did that VP nomination go?" But of course, we don't know that for certain.

Yes. This year is tracking significantly higher than recent previous years for reported USMA appointments on SAF post 15 April. It is clear that not every year's admission pattern is the same. USMA meant what they said, at least this year, in again declaring a May 1st "deadline."
