How did you find out your DD was in med review? Whenever our DD has reached out for info, “specifically where her waiver is in the cue”, she gets the standard “sit tight” response. Zero info.

DD reached out to the Coast Guard and they said it was not necessary and if they needed it they would ask for it. In addition, they said it would not hold up her waiver.

I agree with you, the waiting is extremely hard on my DD. She has been unde waiver review for 3 months and counting. We have not heard any updates since the initial notification. They have not requested any additional AMI.

I was just hoping to get a general idea of how many appointees to the Coast Guard Academy were waiting on their waivers? DD received her appointment over Thanksgiving, then her DQ soon after and we have been waiting with radio silence ever since. Just wondering if this is normal?
