    STEM question

    I received a phone called from USNA Admissions regarding my DD's STEM app. She is in the eighth grade and applied within the past 3 weeks or so. I had a nice 30 minute conversation wih the LT. Is this SOP for STEM candidates? What does this mean? Any advice and insight is apprecaited...thanks.

    Update and thanks Thanks everyone for the advice. I helped my daughter with the STEM application and she submitted it yesterday. I'll see what happens. She has great grades in an advanced ninth-grade curriculum, good activites, Girl Scouts, volunteer, science fair, athletic competitions, etc...
