I am not sure if this applies to this year, but last year DS did not receive his BFE until April 16. No news is good news. Still I remember how tough it was waiting and letter carrier stalking at this time last year. Hang in there. Good luck.

Last year, for us, the time between DS appointment, and Senior Awards Night was less than three weeks. Still our APP was able to find a former USCGA grad to make the presentation on short notice. As others have mentioned it was the highlight of the night. It was worth the extra effort to get it...

Good luck to you all. We stalked until April 15 last year with TWE from USNA and false alarms along the way. It is gut wrenching. No matter what happens, these kids are truly the best and the brightest, and they will excel no matter what path they end up taking. Hang in there. :thumb:

As I recall DS had to purchase running shoes before reporting. The shoes had to meet color requirements. Nothing gaudy. He did not purchase boots beforehand.

We were supposed to have had our RA notification, last year, by no later than April 15. It arrived, in the mail, on April 16. If you do not receive it today, it is not necessarily bad news. Good luck to you all.

My 4/c did not receive a call. BFE came at the last minute. I expect that you will become well acquainted with your letter carrier. Good luck . :smile:
