Okay, well posted this on another thread but it wasn't answered. Is getting a pixie cut a bad idea? I have really thick hair and pulling it into a neat bun is going to take a ridiculous amount of bobby pins and hair ties. I'm thinking that it migt just be easier to get it cut pretty short.

Would it be a bad idea to get a pixie cut? My parents and I have been talking about me possibly getting a pixie cut because my hair is extremely thick and is going to be a pain to have to put in a bun. Would it be a better idea to just get it cut chin length?

Here's a question for female cadets/alumni: How helpful are compression shorts during BCT?

This may be a silly question, but are sneakers issued to cadets? I find it hard to imagine that they would allow everyone to wear different, non-uniform sneakers.

I asked for something really simple. Money. I think that it is a good gift because we can use it however we want to. After BCT it will be nice to have access to money that we saved for basic expenses that our pay doesn't cover. :)

I suggest going to walmart or target and buying a in the door pull up bar. Mine was about 15 bucks and it was completely worth the money. :)

That's weird. I just received my second BFE yesterday and I got my first BFE around the same time that everyone else did.

I had to retake the CFA 3 times, every other score was above or close to the averages except for my chin ups. On the 3rd time I did two chin ups and that seemed to be enough to get me accepted. :) So, moral of the story is: Work on chin ups as much as possible!!!

Could anyone tell me if it'd be a good idea to bring our own midol as well?
