I emailed my BGO last night about my current status. This morning, he sent me an email indicating that my status had just changed to WL (wait listed) that morning.

I'm triple qualified and never received a letter stating that I was board qualified. I've heard that while board qualified letters go out to many, not all of those who are board qualified actually receive one.

First, please realize that you are not competing against the same people as those two were; you're in an entirely different candidate pool. The only factor that relates you to those candidate at all is the school you went to since high school rigor is factored into the academy's GPA conversion...
