15th Annual All-Academy Championships

"VMI will host the 15th Annual All-Academy Wrestling Championships on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Cocke Hall. The action will get underway at 9:30 a.m. as eight military institutions will compete for mat supremacy.

Competing at the meet will be the wrestling teams from the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, The Citadel, Norwich and VMI.

The action will take place on two mats at VMI's "Thunderdome", located on post at Cocke Hall"

Thanks for posting this. I may attend...my son wrestled in high school and I miss being a "Wrestling Mama".

I know one of the VMI wrestlers from Richmond and have met one of the freshman Georgia USMA wrestlers.

Navy is pretty strong so it will be sweet to see them owned.

This will be one of the premier wrestling matches of the year!
