1st AROTC Scholarship Board Deadline

Hi,

I finished and submitted all of the documents for my AROTC application, including the interview (which was completed a week ago) and the deadline for the first board is this Friday. However, my application still says I am an interviewee and the PMS interview is pending. Is the application just delayed or did the PMS not submit the documents? Will I make the first board? It's really important to me that I make the first one because I worked really hard to get everything done early.

My DD had her interview Monday morning and by that night her application changed to Board Ready. If the interview still shows pending the PMS has not submitted. System updates in real time as far as I can tell from DD's. You have until Friday to have it submitted so you may want to follow up with PMS if not showing board ready tomorrow. Good luck!
 
Contact your PMS right away. My DS interviewed in the morning and his status changed from interviewee to board ready by the early afternoon.

Check with the ROO at your #1 college choice. We had this same scenario with my DS 2 years ago and were worried that his online portal appeared that he hadn't completed the interview. The ROO was able to look in the system and see that it had been completed. The day the 1st board started, his online portal never did update with the interview being completed, so we were naturally worried and wondering if we had been told accurate information. In the end, DS was awarded a 4-year scholarship by the first board.
 
Agree with the other commenters... My son did his board Monday and his portal changed on Tuesday. Give a call to the ROO to "follow up." Good luck!
 
It took quite some time...like over a couple weeks for my son's status to change in the system.
