2012 Reporting Aboard Today...

Right about now the poor souls are getting ready to "enjoy" their first meal in King Hall.

Let's all keep them and their families in our prayers as they begin this challenging phase in their lives and become members of those brave forces we are honored to have protecting us from the evils of the world.

Wow. We just returned home last night from Annapolis and I must admit that saying goodbye was easier than I had anticipated. My MID was relaxed and even joking when I got to see her for our last goodbye. It was a good time and I didn't even have the urge to cry. I thought that I would cry on the long drive home, but again I was wrong. Everytime I thought of her, I remembered her up-beat attitude and there wasn't any sadness. Today, I've been online and already seen some pictures of her that others have taken and I can gladly report she is still breathing and looks pretty good, BCG's and all! Thank you to all of you for your support! The ride is pretty smooth right now but I'm sure I'll hit a bump sooner or later.
