2020 Appointee Facebook

Other than this forum, are appointees and/or parents sent information about the Parents' Facebook page, especially how to join? I don't recall seeing anything in DD's package, although, she hasn't necessarily shared everything yet.

I'm asking since the number of parents that have joined thus far seems low. They could be like me and not have a Facebook account, though.

Capri120, USAFA really doesn't care about the parents FB page and whether or not parents join. The best way to get parents in the group is by word of mouth. The Academy focuses on getting the parents hooked up with the parent clubs of each state, but that's about it. Most other info about the Academy can be found on their website and their own FB page.

Anyone posting on the facebook page beware... Anything you say on there will quite possibly make it to the cadre's ears. Not a scare tactic, just something I think a lot of appointees forget in their happiness at being accepted. Have fun, be smart!
 
I am familiar with the FB page for the parents of 2020 appointees, is there a different one for the cadets? What is it's name, can't seem to find it using random guesses. Thank you!
