2020 North Texas U.S. Service Academies
FYI, students (grades 8-12) and their parents are invited to attend the 2020 North Texas U.S. Service Academies Forum which will be held on Saturday, April 4th at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth! Congressman Burgess is co-hosting this informational forum with other congressional colleagues to provide interested middle and high school students an excellent opportunity to learn more about our nation's service academies, requirements for admission and the selection process as well as other options to become an officer. School principals, counselors, coaches and teachers are encouraged to attend as well.
Currently, there are 14 congressional offices participating in this year’s event:

Representatives from congressional offices and all five service academies (U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and U.S. Air Force Academy), as well as current academy cadets and midshipmen, and representatives from DODMERB and Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps ROTC will be invited to be on hand to answer questions and distribute information. Attendees can meet with these representatives on a one-to-one basis to become informed about the excellent educational opportunities available to qualified young men and women who want to serve their country.
