2021- One month of CPR left!!!

I hope so. One step closer to finishing this.
It's midwatch (2200-0300) & I worked all today, with tomorrow looking like a full day. I have too much on my mind, let's end this USNA.
CTNope, what type of vessel are you on?

The type that goes ontop of the water!
My platform doesn't have many hulls in Japan, but I'm not on a DDG, nor a carrier.

Each academy calls them something a little different so I left it kind of vague. It will be the person who works in admissions and reviews your file. At USMA, the person is called the RC. We went through this once with ROTC and twice with USMA and USAFA. (My DD knows that the last two words of the National Anthem are Beat Navy so she did not apply there.)
The person in admissions knows where you sit on your primary slates and has a pretty good idea if you have a chance from the NWL. I cannot answer if they will tell you that information but they would be the person to ask. The counselors at the other academies will usually tell you where you sit and what your chances are, something like you did not win your nomination slate and your WCS is too low to realistically have a chance from the NWL or you are #2 on your slate and the #1 person has not accepted yet, etc.
There are so many moving pieces it is impossible to venture a guess where you sit and what is happening without that information. Once they determine you have no chance, they will typically process the TWE.

1994,

Thanks for your post, sadly I know my package hasn't been reviewed yet.
In an ironic twist of fate, I would much rather attend USMA, but alas I'm an enlisted Sailor.

Thanks USMA1994, even if you have the National Anthem wrong LOL. CTNope, good luck, and to all still swimming in the CPR. This mom feels in need of medical CPR some days, but I know, praying for that appointment is all I can do.

Do you guys think another wave of TWE's are going out tomorrow?

If not tomorrow, it surely will come sometime soon. I think based on the older threads, 2006 and above we should be expecting about three more waves of TWEs.

did anyone still CPR ever get nominated past april 15th? I want to pay my security deposit to my plan B ASAP
I think only if they have been waitlisted (and therefore were notified that they were waitlisted on or before April 15th) or had an LOA pending medical waiver.

Honestly, I think majority of us with the CPR at this point will probably receive TWEs in the near term, unless your congressman's slate hasn't been reviewed yet, which I don't know if there are any slates left at this point that haven't been reviewed yet. There aren't that many appointments after April 1 based on reading last year threads.. Of course, one had to consider that the numbers of appointments have been very small in relation to the overall admission class, thus it is difficult to say with certainty what those trends indicate.

However, we have been able to make some observations based on very limited data from prior years, and so far they have been accurate. Having said that, there are a lot of unknowns about the admission process that I wished I had answers to..

The waiting is indeed difficult. I've included a picture of my DS just as he turned 18 and waiting.

I thought I was the only one seeing things this way and just like you I have gone thru the old classes to see how things unfolded around this period. Please do not get me wrong, I still remain very positive and hopeful but at this point people have to get a little more realistic. The chances are slimmer as the class starts to take its shape and with everyday passing by with no word from USNA, TWE will be the final response from the academy. Everyone can see that activity on the appointment thread has slowed down and will continue as we approach April 15. I urge everyone to start looking into paying for their college down payments because the next big thing we will be hearing after this month ends, will be from the people that were offered NAPS.

My DD would LOVE the opportunity to get sent to NAPS or the Foundation Program. As a parent, I was the one pushing to make the Plan B deposit but DD said no - and of course I didn't believe it - so I called the business offices at her accepted schools. As long as they receive it before May 1 then she's good. The USNA wait is definitely worth it! I would be happy to lose the deposits if she were waitlisted then appointed late.
