FYI, North Texas students and their parents are invited to attend the 2022 North Texas U.S. Service Academies Forum on Saturday morning, April 9th in Fort Worth! Senator John Cornyn, Senator Ted Cruz, Rep. Van Taylor, Rep. Lance Gooden, Rep. Pat Fallon, Rep. Jake Ellzey, Rep. August Pfluger, Rep. Kay Granger, Rep. Ronny Jackson, Rep. Jodey Arrington, Rep. Beth Van Duyne, Rep. Michael Burgess, Rep. John Carter, Rep. Colin Allred, and Rep. Marc Veasey are co-hosting this informational outreach event to provide interested middle and high school students and their parents an excellent opportunity to learn more about our nation's service academies, requirements for admission and the selection process.

Representatives from congressional offices and all five service academies (U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and U.S. Air Force Academy), as well as representatives from DODMERB and Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps ROTC have been invited to be on hand to answer questions and distribute information. Attendees can meet with these representatives on a one-to-one basis to become informed about the excellent educational opportunities available to qualified young men and women who want to serve their country.

This free event will begin at 8:00 AM; registration opens onsite at 7:30 AM. RSVPs are not required. It is not a come and go event but "come and stay!"
