2025 Army-Navy Spirit Thread - Have At it (respectfully)

I'm an "outsider" in this one, and yet...

One could be 12-0 and nationally ranked, the other could be 2-10 and laughed at.

Come Army-Navy game...it's different.

The season: that's about sport.
This game: this is war, battle, combat, pride, bragging rights, you name it...
(Heck, I'm sure somewhere floating around out there are OPORDs that the public never sees concerning this game...)

I'll be watching it, and bowl games...at home...just like my Falcons...this clearly was a "building year" for them.
(I'm not sure what they were building, but that's what my dad always called it)

You have an awesome franchise qb that’s injured. We have a healthy JJ McCarthy, a franchise qb with a rating that is about the same as Jayden Daniels when he has been out injured.
 
As I was sitting in front of my computer, watching Georgia put a smackdown on 'Bama...my phone beeped to let me know I had FB "memory" to view.

Oh, the timing...

I remember Navy videos; I think the Mid's name was Rylan Touhy? They were classic. The Army responded fairly well. And that's what popped up today.

I'm going again for third year straight. I went to Foxborough my DD's plebe year and drove two mids back. It was a long haul. Passed the convoy of USNA buses up and back. Foxborough is kind of a sh*t show getting in and out. No offense. Drove up from the beach to see her at Landover for an awesome game. Alumni, family and friends were absolutely hammered. Kind of comical. And now I get to see them in my hometown at the Bank. It will be awesome and a bit cold. GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY!

I think he is truly brilliant at what he does, and did.

Imagine a mid selling the idea of the “Naptown Funk” video, getting the buy-in from senior leaders, coordinating with the city of Annapolis to shut down Main St. for the shoot, directing all the participants, bringing in the D&B. etc. His videos are all mid-generated and executed. And he had the normal mid staggering schedule.

Oh - an opportunity to link “Naptown Funk,” to get the spirit moving.
