Hello DS is applying from IL. Have you heard back from Duckworth or Durbin yet?
Nothing yet. My buddy last year got his letter in December though from Tammy Duckworth saying that he got nominated by her. Durbin sent one to him as well saying that he would have given him a nomination as well if Tammy didn’t nominate him. I’m in IL-04 by the way.

Wionder if Schumer interview will be a zoom, phone or in person interview... Any idea ?

once again, best of luck !!
Said it would be virtual, I assume that would mean zoom but I suppose it could become a phone call. Have you been invited yet? Good luck!

Have not heard back from either. Which district are you from? I’m from IL-10 and have yet to hear back after my nomination interview.
We are in IL-12. DS didn't have a interview yet for Durbin or Duckworth. Is that who you had your interview with?

So they don't do interviews? We are in IL-12.

Are there any past applicants who have interviewed with either NY senator that can let me know some questions that may be asked of me or anything else I may need to be prepared for? I have interviews with both Gillibrand and Schumer coming up and although I though my MOC interview went smoothly, I feel like there will be tougher questions as they have more candidates to filter out on a state-wide level. Thanks.

Hello.

Has anyone hear back from either of CA state senators? I got an email from Feinstein's office saying I was selected for a "merchant marine interview". This is interesting because I didn't apply for a nomination for the merchant marines on the application. I am not looking to attend there.

Regardless, I accepted the interview so that I can gain the interview experience. If anyone has heard back from Feistein or Harris I'd love to know.

Thanks in advance!

Update for Feinstein's office. Just got an email saying "due to scheduling conflicts and the remote nature of this year we will be unable to accommodate any nomination interviews".

I assume that means no interviews at all which is something that I have never seen. Unfortunate, as I was counting on my interview being one of biggest things that would set me apart from other applicants. Did anyone else receive a communication from them saying this?

It is not unusual for elected officials to not hold interviews, even in a “regular” year. Presumably, you put together strong nom application packages as well as a strong SA application(s). Do the best you can with the things under your control and hope your strengths shine.

Does anyone know if Arizona MOC talk to each as to only have 1 senator or representative give their nomination. For example, "I receive a nomination for senator 1 and the others won't consider me because I already got one." Also does anyone know when AZ Reps and Senators usually say if you got a nomination. I already did all my interviews and I received a nomination to USAFA from one senator and I haven't heard back from the others.
